Cape Flattery Lighthouse

The Tatoosh Island lighthouse marks the northwesternmost point of the contiguous United States — the tip of Washington's Olympic Peninsula, on Makah Nation land, where the Strait of Juan de Fuca meets the open Pacific. Standing here, Tim's phone buzzed with a message: 'Welcome to Canada.' Vancouver Island is that close. The very edge of the country, lit on fire.
